Privacy Policy

What Slapss accesses

Slapss reads data from two sources, depending on what you choose to connect:

• macOS Calendar (EventKit) — reads your calendar events and reminders to show upcoming meetings and fire alerts. This data never leaves your device.
• Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online (optional) — if you connect your Microsoft account, Slapss reads your Outlook calendar events via the Microsoft Graph API. Requests go directly from your Mac to graph.microsoft.com. Slapss does not have a backend server; no data passes through any infrastructure we operate.

Data we collect

None. Slapss has no analytics, no crash reporting service, no telemetry, and no servers. There is nothing to collect.

Data storage

The only thing Slapss stores persistently is:

• Your preferences (lead-time, enabled calendars, etc.) — saved in UserDefaults on your Mac, never transmitted.
• Microsoft OAuth tokens (if you sign in) — stored in your Mac's Keychain, encrypted by the OS. These tokens are used to authenticate requests to Microsoft Graph and are never sent anywhere else.

Third-party services

If you connect a Microsoft 365 account, your Mac communicates directly with:

• login.microsoftonline.com — Microsoft's OAuth login endpoint
• graph.microsoft.com — Microsoft Graph API for reading calendar events

These are Microsoft services governed by Microsoft's Privacy Policy. Slapss only reads calendar data and never writes to your Microsoft account.

Data sharing

We do not share any data with any third party, because we do not collect any data in the first place.

Children's privacy

Slapss is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because we collect no data, there is very little reason for this policy to change.
